Our Story

 Like other companies, SBM spent years bending 3PL and logistics software to our clients’ needs.

With an eye towards innovation, SBM invested the time and resources necessary to develop an app specifically made for our industry. In response to the new challenges faced by property mangers and owners, Supreme Point was created as a real cost-saving asset for our clients to use in the new normal in today’s office and residential environments.

Kevin Bennett

President

A bottom to top story in our company, Kevin started as a messenger while attending Hunter College here in New York and in a short time had worked in every imaginable position in the industry as the personal assistant to creator of the messenger center and founder of SBM, Eric Bennett. This diverse pedigree coupled with a passion for his family’s business made him a unique and powerful asset for SBM and it’s clients, and by the age of 25 Kevin had taken over the daily operation of the company as Vice President with a dedicated focus on new technology and employee benefits.

Matt Williams

Chief Technology Officer

Matt Williams accepted the challenge to reinvent SBM as a mobile-first, data-driven service organization in June of 2020. After 15+ years as a cognitive scientist / data engineer, and data systems innovator, he’s taken on SBM’s challenge to reinvent data systems, operations and processes to ensure high quality, consistent, secure and actionable data from SBM’s new Supreme Point platform: a ‘smart-building’ package disinfection and delivery operation relied on by dozens of NYC’s most prestigious Manhattan skyscrapers.

 

Jasmine Ortiz

Director Human Resources

Jasmine is responsible for the quality of employment our staff enjoys while with SBM and her work is evident in the happiness of our team. Like Kevin, Ms.Ortiz worked her way through the ranks of SBM over several years, later using that experience as the catalyst for her overhaul of our benefits program. Because of her hard work, SBM employees were provided with to enjoy the most comprehensive benefits program available in the industry, including up to 3 weeks vacation, sick leave, health, dental, and life insurance policies and countless other improvements that have made SBM not only the best messenger center team to work with but also for.

Carmen Torres

Regional Manager

Ms. Torres has the unenviable task of maintaining procedures and quality control across the entirety of our portfolio and for the last five years she has earned a name as one of the most skilled and diplomatic figures in the messenger center industry. Her ability to professionally communicate resolutions to issues at a moment’s notice to her team of district managers and other key members makes her an invaluable resource to SBM and it’s clientele, the whole of which has become accustomed to any problems ending with a Thank You to Carmen.
